Just like every year in April and May, Buenos Aires will be the place to be for all Spanish literature lovers. From the 24th of April to the 12th of May you can go to the Buenos Aires International Book Fair to get that one book you always wanted, or a quick talk with your favourite writer.
It’s not just ‘a’ festival of books, it is the 40th edition. This means that it will be bigger than before. There will be a lot of international guests, like Juan José Campanella, Anne Marie Chartier, Eugenio Echeverría, Grazia Gotti and Luis González Martin.
More than 45,000 square metres full of stands 10,000 professionals, 400 exhibitions and 1,000,000 visitors annually and billions of books to please you, that is the book fair in numbers. More information about the fair on el libro org ar.
On the 24th of April the fair, of which is said ‘the most important annual literary event in the Spanish speaking world’, will be opened by Joaquín Lavado, the creator of the best known comic of whole Latin America, Mafalda.
