Forget about the wine in Argentina, it´s cocktail week! During this week multiple bars in Buenos Aires are preparing themselves to provide you with the most unique cocktails. This anticipated event starts next week on Sunday, the 15th of May.
The idea is that various bars all over Buenos Aires have prepared an exclusive menu with drinks for an affordable price. This provides you with the opportunity to taste more than just Fernet Coca Cola and the red wine.
This is not a random new festival; it is historically based. Because of all of the immigration in Argentina´s history, lots of different foreign spirits came together. This cocktail event gives all bartenders the chance to show the culture of cocktails.
More than 40 bars participate in this event, meaning that there will probably always be a bar close to you. You can go there to enjoy one of their amazing cocktails, participate in one of their workshops, and chat with the bartenders.
- May 16th Cocktail making workshop at BASA, 7PM price is 120 pesos
- May 17th Bloody Mary workshop at Puerta Uno, 5.30 PM 120 pesos
- May 18th Taste drinks which are specially prepared to accompany the burger at Deltoro Burgers, 7PM
- May 19th Cocktail combinations with coffee at Lab, 7PM till 10 PM
Besides these workshops, you can taste cocktails in every bar that is participating. They will be offering various special cocktails.
