Argentina´s World Cup Team: Aguero is out and Messi returns!
As Argentina´s first game in the World Cup qualifiers approaches, some changes are being made in the team´s line-up. Sergio Aguero has pulled out and Lionel Messi has confirmed his return to the national team.
Aguero was injured in the game against West Ham over the weekend. According to the medical staff, he has pulled his left calf muscle and will be out for at least the first game of the World Cup qualifiers.
In addition, Javier Pastore also pulled a calf muscle, so he won´t be able to play in at least the first two games of the qualifiers.
Furthermore, Lionel Messi is confirmed for Argentina´s line-up in the World Cup qualifiers. Messi had suddenly announced his retirement after the team´s loss to Chile in the Copa America final. Fans are ecstatic that he has decided to return to the team.
Argentina will face Uruguay on Thursday, September 1st, and will then play Venezuela on September 6th.
