The 5th International Solar Cities Congress will be Held on 17 and 18 November in the Centro Metropolitano de Diseño in Barracas, Buenos Aires.
A Congress in which academic, political, business and social design strategies seek to reduce and stabilize emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) before 2050. During the Congress stakeholders have the opportunity to share their experiences aware of the challenges and problems that come with Climate Change, and to get involved in building more sustainable cities.
The Solar Cities Congress is a non-governmental organization founded in 2003 that promotes the sustainable actions in the field of the urban energy in the world. The previous congresses have been held in Daegu, South Korea (2004); Oxford, United Kingdom (2006); Adelaide, Australia (2008) and Dezhou, China (2010), in which mayors, academic institutions, businesses and not-for-profit organizations from all parts of the world have participated.
