The Argentinian Mariano Mastromarino has won the marathon of Buenos Aires last Sunday. When he passed the leading runner Julius Karinga (Kenya), after 37 kilometers, the officials were so surprised that they wanted to get him out of the competition. They saw him as an ‘intruder’ and asked him to leave the race. Later, they realized they were mistaken. Mastromarino won the marathon in a time of 2:15:28 and is the first Argentine winner since 2004. See the video of the incident here:
