La Noche de Las Librerias (Night of the Libraries) in Buenos Aires is an event which is interesting for people of all ages. Activities for the whole family will take place, for example talks with authors, live narration, short tutorials and games. The night will end with a live concert of Spanish singer Alex Ubago, accompanied by Argentinean and international guest artists. Avenida Corrientes is changed to a pedestrian between the streets of Junin and Libertad, from 18 p.m. on Saturday March 12 until 01.00 a.m. on Sunday March 13. Visitors you can discover the bookstores in the open air, under the light of the stars. Let the magic of the books inspire you. The admission of the night of the libraries is for free. Metro line B passes by Avenida Corrientes, so you can easily plan your journey to the event (get off at Pasteur, Callao or Uruguay).
