On Thursday morning, October 23, public bus line 75 drove into a morgue, 12 people got injured and three of them needed to go to the hospital.
This morning in the center of Buenos Aires an accident occurred. The driver of a public bus lost control over the wheel and crashed into a morgue. The bus first hit a gas shed, where work was being done to check if there had been a gas leak, and later slammed into the morgue. A spokesman of the System of Emergency Medical Care confirmed that 12 people got injured (bumps and bruises) and three passengers were were more severly injured and needed to go to the hospital.
A witness stated that the bus tried to swerve away from another vehicle or pedestrian. The police are currently investigating what exactly happened. At the moment the area is closed for traffic and emergency services are investigating the cause of the accident.
Fortunately, no one had to be sent to the morgue.
